About Us:

We are the Koyamatsu's, Norm, Ranae, and Buddy. We have been full time rving for almost 4 years and have met many wonderful people and made many lifetime friends. It was in 2005 that Ranae asked me if I would like to sell our house and join the ranks of the "homeless". It took me all of 5 seconds to decide that this was what I wanted to do. I have always wanted to travel the United States and see all the places that you read and hear about. It is a decision that we have not regretted.

Ranae loves to play games and I like just relaxing and watching tv. We both enjoy shopping and sight seeing which is pretty much what we do when we are traveling. During our winter stays in Rockport, TX she plays, I kick back and we both enjoy going out and "happy hours" in the afternoon. Our winter home has been at Bay View RV Park in Rockport, TX, a Western Horizons Park. Rockport is an undiscovered, quaint beach town in southern Texas and has a small town atmosphere. We like it so much we purchased a deeded lot at Rockport Oaks RV Park and look forward to having something more permanent to winter at.

During the first year of "full timing" we learned that, economicly it was to our advantage to to join a campground membership whether it be Western Horizons, Coast to Coast, or Thousand Trails. Along with a membership in Resorts of Distinction, it has drasticly cut the costs of our lifestyle and allows us to indulge in tourist areas during our summer travels. The greatest thing about this lifestyle is the people you meet and to be able to follow good weather.

It was also during our first year that we purchased Buddy in Coos Bay, Oregon and he has since been our faithful travel companion. He is half Labrador and half Beagle and looks like a perpetual Lab puppy although he is full grown. Sometimes he is a handfull but always loving. faithful, and happy to see you.

Also during our travels we have found many helpful internet sites that can provide help and info for other fulltimers. Here are the links.

We hope you enjoy our website and if you meet some of our friends during your travels say "hello" from the Koyamatsu's. Happy Travels!
